Firetron is Hiring a Fire Alarm Service Technician Near College Station, TX
Hours Of Work7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
Occasional overtime and weekend work as required
Inclusion in after-hours on-call rotation
Requirements
- Ability to utilize tech support, manuals, and other forms of information to solve issues in the field.
- Experience in maintaining timesheets, detailed notes, and material usage for work orders.
- Must be able and willing to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to perform work in unusual & sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding & high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Three years of experience in low voltage installation
- Hand tool, power tool and multi-meter usage experience
- Texas State Fire Alarm License
- Notifier certification or knowledge of Notifier parts is a definite a plus.
- Licenses outside the FAL are encouraged but not required.
