Firm Media Inc is Hiring a Lead SEM specialist Near Ontario, CA

Job DescriptionAs a Lead SEM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the SEM Manager and ensuring the continued success of our SEM campaigns. This role involves leadership responsibilities as well as maintenance, optimization, and client interactions - including reporting for existing clients and conducting research for prospective clients. You will be responsible for enhancing campaign performance and maintaining clear communication with the clients who’s accounts you are responsible for. You will also assist the SEM Manager in mentoring junior SEM specialists and ensuring best practices are followed within the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior SEM team members and assist SEM Manager in ensuring best practices established by the industry and Firm Media are followed.
  • Mentorship: Regularly check in with team members to provide support, guidance, and coaching, ensuring their professional development and growth.
  • Campaign Optimization: Review and optimize SEM campaigns regularly to improve performance - this includes keyword management, ad copy adjustments, bidding strategy optimization, etc.
  • Negative Keyword Management: Maintain and update negative keyword lists to enhance campaign targeting and cost-efficiency.
  • Client Meetings: Be client-facing in Analytics Reviews - this includes remaining consultative while explaining campaign successes or challenges and effectively answering client questions or concerns.
  • Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to generate budget recommendations tailored to a clients’ market competition based on available budget and competition analysis.
  • Generate reports: Gather KPI reports to effectively communicate campaign results - this includes for Analytics Review meetings & routine PPC and paid ad check ins. (i.e. lead quality evaluations)
  • Budget Management: Ensure proper allocation of ad spend for campaigns you’re responsible for.
  • Transparency: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients regarding campaign performance and results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments as needed to address client needs and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Analytics Support: Assist in analytics tracking as required, whether for reporting or technical setups, working with the team. Assist in maintaining active paid ad campaign reporting.
  • Product Support: Help execute the delivery of paid advertising products related to SEM marketing, both existing and new offerings.
  • Other Duties: Assist in other departmental tasks as required to provide additional support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with Google Ads and other forms of paid advertising, with a preference for experience in medical marketing.
  • Digital Analytics: Strong understanding of tracking, reporting, and testing.
  • Marketing Knowledge: A strong understanding of core marketing services, including SEO.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey campaign performance and strategies to clients and team members.
  • Budget Management: Ability to assist in managing campaign budgets effectively without setting and forgetting.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience with past campaigns and measurable ROI data.
  • Call Tracking Experience: Experience with call tracking or lead tracking systems is a plus.
