As a member of the grocery team, the Grocery/Bulk Lead receives orders, stocks shelves, displays and orders products in the Grocery department as necessary, and provides assistance to customers in a variety of ways. Additionally, the Lead will work closely with the Grocery Management Team to assist with merchandising, training, coding invoices, category management and inventory management. This position will also work closely with Grocery/Bulk Stockers to ensure they understand all systems and procedures as laid out by management. Most duties are completed on the sales floor and therefore require much interaction with customers such as sharing product knowledge or location. The Grocery Lead also performs the duties of a back-up cashier, as requested. Leads are always expected to offer exemplary customer service throughout all tasks.
