Group Director - Business Development and Sales

First Aviation Services Inc. (FAvS) is a fast-growing, worldwide leader in aircraft parts manufacturing, component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and rotables management serving the corporate, military, airline and rotary-wing markets.

First Aviation’s principal operating subsidiaries are: Aerospace Turbine Rotables, Inc., Associated Aircraft Manufacturing & Sales, Inc., Aviation Blade Services, Inc., Evōlution Aerospace, Inc., Master Support, Inc., Heliblade International, LLC, and Piedmont Propulsion Systems, LLC. Position Description:

As the Group Director of Business Development and Sales, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the charge in expanding our market presence and ensuring sustained growth across six divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for business development and sales across the group, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives. Ensure cross functional relationships are positive and constructive at all times to enhance business performance. Assist in providing a range of informational monthly reporting.

Client Engagement: Develop and maintain robust relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning our aerospace solutions to exceed expectations. Create good solutions through understanding the customer’s business and factors impacting it.

Market Expansion: Lead initiatives to expand market reach globally, capitalizing on emerging trends in the commercial and military aftermarket for both fixed- and rotary-wing applications.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for each division, achieving revenue targets, increasing market share and fostering sales synergies across the group. Collaborate with the sales team and operational department to maximize sales revenues.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the diverse aviation MRO solutions and parts manufacturing capabilities offered by First Aviation, effectively communicating these offerings to potential clients.

Ethical Leadership: Uphold and promote First Aviation's commitment to the highest ethical standards in all business development and sales activities.

International Representation: Manage and coordinate First Aviation’s global network of sales representations and ensure an appropriate presence at tradeshows and events both in the US and internationally. Foster global sales partnerships and brand visibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience in business development and sales within the aviation aftermarket.

• Deep understanding of a value added sales process

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities

• Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in business practices
