Position: Assistant Product Manager
Location: Brownville, TX

Job Overview:
The Assistant Product Manager will support the Product Line Development and Maintenance within the Repair Products team of TRICO Group. This role involves being a key link between Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain disciplines within the TRICO Organization. The Assistant Product Manager will assist the Product Manager in managing expectations across different sales channels and participate in key meetings and customer Line Reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in driving the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• Support Product lifecycle management and Strategic Product planning for Hydraulics line.
• Help develop and execute standard operating principles for new product introduction.
• Collaborate with development teams (Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) to define a go-to-market strategy.
• Support the identification of initial planning requirements based on customer needs and assist in new business development.
• Ensure accurate entry of product data in ERP systems (Oracle) to support business needs.
• Work with internal data management teams to ensure correct product data publication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Automotive, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing/product management, preferably in the automotive Original Equipment or Aftermarket sectors.
• Proven success in supporting product launches and development.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic brake systems.
• Familiarity with ACES and PIES file types & MOTOR data is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the aftermarket brake customer base and competitors is a plus.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize a complex range of activities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in project management skills and tools.
• Effective interpersonal and team skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and key stakeholders without formal authority.
