At First Call we handle everything from mold remediation, water & flood damage cleanup, fire and soot remediation, insulation replacement, to bio-hazard cleanup. We are looking for technicians to join our team to provide these services to our community. We are looking for no nonsense people, willing to work, learn and grow while upholding our company standards, culture and reputation. Job Requirements:

  • Hold a Valid NYS driver’s license
  • Ability to be on call 24/7 every other week Monday-Sunday
  • The ability to wear and pass a fit test for a full-face respirator
  • The ability to work in adverse conditions such as heat, water, and confined spaces
  • Own and possess your own set of basic hand tools
  • A positive and upbeat attitude and the ability to be a true team player

Ideal Candidates will have;

  • Basic knowledge of building construction
  • Ability to operate power tools
  • Ability to understand a scope of work and take direction from a team leader
  • The desire to learn and grow within the team
  • Experience towing and backing a trailer
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience in speaking with customers in order to explain a scope of work while portraying confidence and pride

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
