Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mortuary Transporter to join our team. The Transporter will be responsible for driving vehicles to transport decedents to selected funeral home in a safe and timely manner.
Duties:
- Drive Vehicles: Safely operate the vehicle.
- Transport Decedents: Take the Decedent from the pick-up location and take them to the selected funeral home.
- Maintain Vehicles: Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to decedents and their families during transportation with dignity and respect to both decedents and families.
- Communicate: Effectively communicate with families, funeral directors, support staff, and team members as needed.
- Heavy Lifting: Assist with loading and unloading decedents.
- Have reliable transportation
Skills:
- Ability to maintain and drive vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally.
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with dignity and respect.
- Capability for heavy lifting when loading and unloading decedents.
