Imaging Processor (Part-Time)

The primary purpose of this position is to assist First Commerce in fulfilling our Vision Empowering Generations, Transforming. This is achieved through delivering Remarkable Member Service as defined by our Service Standards as well as building and maintaining strong member relationships through identification of member's financial needs and effectively recommending appropriate products and services to meet those needs.

The Imaging Processor I assists with the proper preparation, scanning and appending of the Credit Union's permanent records to be stored on Optical. Assists with maintaining the storage of the credit unions paper and imaged documents, ensuring proper record retention on all stored documents. Will serve as support to other CLSC positions.

Responsibilities :

• Will perform job duties in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors under the rules and regulations set by the National Credit Union Administration, the State of Florida and any applicable State laws.
• Complies with BSA, OFAC, and CIP requirements such as checking names against OFAC for new deposit or loan relationships and issuing cashier checks.
• Verify and prioritize all documents sent to CLSC by financial centers, administration and support departments for quality control, reviewing documentation for legibility, correct account numbers, missing documents or pages. Contact team members for corrections and approval from supervisors for poor quality documents to remain on optical, return unacceptable items with correction transmittal sheet to appropriate supervisor to request replacement documents.
• Prepare all reviewed documents for imaging; placing documents into appropriate batches with correct header sheets prior to transferring to imaging bins.
• Assist Imagining processor with scanning all batches from bins daily, monitoring the scanner at all times insuring proper orientation and legibility of each document.
• Pending batches in Application Extender (Optical Software) will be appended daily, verifying correct index types, document types or suffixes. All documents are to be evaluated during the appending process for proper orientation and legibility.
• May serve as back up to Insurance processor filing insurance claims for vehicle losses; includes preparing Guarantee of Title letters for insurance companies, coordinating loss process with members and insurance companies, and posting insurance company settlement payments.
• May serve as back up to Insurance processor filing GAP claims and post GAP settlement checks, will include researching account if GAP claim is denied; sending out appropriate notification letters to members regarding Insurance Settlement and GAP payment or denials.
• Processes Credit Life and Disability Claims; will be responsible to input all pertinent data regarding claims into vender software.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum one (1) year experience and/or training in consumer loan servicing; knowledge of credit union operations, preferred.
