First Community Insurance Agency is dedicated to assisting individuals in safeguarding what matters most to them. We are currently searching for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Insurance Representative to join our team. In this role, you would be responsible for issuing insurance certificates, making basic policy adjustments for Auto, Liability and Workers comp policies, as well as inputting data.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, members, carrier representatives, underwriters, etc.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all incoming Commercial Insurance service calls. • Process quotations, binders, certificates of insurance, cancellations, endorsements, and first report of claims as needed.

• Maintain complete and accurate files and input necessary data into the agency management system.

• Support the Commercial Insurance Marketer in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.

• Assist Commercial Insurance Marketer in gathering information needed to submit business to Carriers from various resources.

• Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues. May also negotiate with underwriters and carriers. Troubleshoots claims and billing issues.

• Develops new business from existing accounts. Identifies and follows-up on cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.

• Perform daily job responsibilities, including responding to voice mail, email, and client inquiries promptly. Requirements

• Prior experience in customer service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to complete all applicable training provided by Agency.

• Ability to obtain Missouri Property & Casualty License within 90 days.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
