The Trust Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing operational and service support to clients and Trust Officers with emphasis on transactional processing. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy process improvements, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

• Process high volume and high value transactions including payment processing, account reconciliation, and transfers.
• Identify and post deposits received into the trust accounting system including cash deposits, transfers, rental payments, etc.
• Transfer funds timely and maintain records for federal and tax withholding.
• Execute and post same day settlements for money market sweep transactions and reconcile against custodian records.
• Assist in proper coding and research accurate disbursement for transactions.
• Utilize various payment methods including check generation, ACHs, internal transfers, and wires.
• Close accounts in entirety and maintain accurate records in system.
• Respond to operational inquiries from Trust Officers and associates.
• Maintain files for the trust operations department.

Who You Are

• College degree in finance, accounting, or business administration required or equivalent years of experience.
• Background knowledge in fiduciary and financial accounting, taxes and investments, and/or trust/estate regulations.
• General knowledge of trust, estate, employee benefit and custody relationships, fiduciary and financial accounting, and tax and investment management.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
