A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Related experience (preferred)
Progress toward professional certifications is encouraged
A general knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
A knowledge of trust administration principles, estate planning, taxes, and investment principles (preferred)
An ability to use a trust accounting system, Microsoft products and other automation tools
An ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment
Skills in written and verbal communication (especially in complex matters)
High level of problem solving and organizational skills
Strong motivation to learn, and dedication to professional development

This position has a broad range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
Reconciling shared deposit account and client accounts monthly
Assisting the Operations Manager with the quarterly billing process
Booking assets into a fiduciary accounting software when onboarding new accounts
Initiating checks for bill payment and distributions
Generating and saving client statements
Assisting with the management of trust tax requirements, including working closely with the client’s tax preparers to gather information needed to file tax returns, generating and filing tax forms and collecting and mailing K-1s and grantor letters
Compiling Court Accountings
Creating spreadsheets to help with analysis or making processes more efficient
