First Division Consulting is Hiring an Engineering Technician VI Near Charleston, SC
- This is a contingent position based on the successful award of the contract
- Remote work options are negotiable post-award
The qualified candidate shall perform the following tasks:
- Provide support for Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms
- Assist with the installation of C2 and/or ISR equipment
- Design, prepare, and modify engineering documents and drawings
- Work in Information Technology or RF Communications disciplines, ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the installation of such equipment
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology or RF Communications disciplines, with at least 7 years performed within the last 9 years
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or Engineering Technology
- An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
- Light to moderate lifting may be required
- Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic)
- Ability to work in a confined area.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period
