**Description**

Under general supervision, perform daily functions to facilitate and execute operational Cashiering activities related to First Horizon Advisors. This position will work directly with our Wealth Management team and clients to process items and resolve problems. Professionally communicates status updates and rejections between the Wealth Management team and our clearing house. Must be able to perform efficient and accurate processing and have the ability to multi task. Established guidelines and procedures must be used and followed.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for processing money movements into and out of brokerage accounts

* Reviews and approves money movement transactions and verifying required documentation is obtained

* Ensures the timely and accurate posting of check deposits and maintains record for deposits

* Processes stock deposits via physical certificates or thru electronic processing

* Clears legal paperwork that is required for stock deposits including restricted stock

* Reviews and updates links between brokerage and bank accounts

* Responsible for following and clearing rejected items

* Process Fed Wires and ensures proper documentation is received and notated

* Interact daily with our Wealth Management team regarding submission of paperwork and status of requests and money movements

* Responsible for reviewing and processing daily reports dealing with Cashiering functions

* Will work closely with other Cashiering members and other brokerage departments

* Responsible for calculating margin calls and notifying the Sales force and clients

* Works directly with our clearing house and Wealth Management team to resolve issues

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:**

* Currently holds FINRA Series 6 or 7 license (Or successful completion of FINRA Series 99 license within 120 Days of employment)

* Bachelors Degree preferred

* Basic understanding of financial industry and markets, banking, and financial planning

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

* 1-2 years of sales and/or broker dealer experience preferred

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Ability to coordinate with others, set and achieve goals, and resolve problems while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork that works collaboratively across departments
