Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage budget and department variances.
• Ensure departmental guidelines, policies and procedures are current and adhered to by staff. Includes maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Oversee department staffing and turnover, ensuring staffing needs are adequate.
• Oversee supervision of staff, conduct performance and salary reviews.
• Assist with the development of cost efficient and profitable strategies.
• Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of assigned program(s), KPI’s, processes and/or tasks through appropriate reporting and analytic mechanisms.
• Identify process improvements and coordinate implementation.
• Work in coordination with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
• Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.
• Respond to audits and data requests related to examiner questions, requests, and reviews. Support responses to internal audits and regulatory exams.
• Assist in the management and oversight of vendor partnerships, as applicable.
• Develop, present, and implement strategic recommendations & business initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with six plus (6 ) years’ experience preferred.
• Degree or advanced degree in Data Science/Analytics preferred or related fields such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial, and Business Administration and/or a combination of degree and/or relevant experience are accepted/required.
• Credit card and/or applicable business experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of the credit card system preferred.
• Basic coding of SQL and/or SAS or equivalent (Python, R) is required and Power BI or equivalent (Tableau) experience is preferred.
