**Job Title: Assembly Shop Worker 2nd shift**

**Summary:**

Dedicated and hardworking Shop Worker with a strong background in manufacturing and assembly processes. **Responsibilities:**

**Spot Welding:**

- Operate spot welding machines to join metal parts and assemblies.

- Follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to complete welding tasks accurately.

**Job Title: Brake Press Operator**

**Break Press Machine Operation:**

- Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and components.

- Select, position, and align dies in the machine according to specifications.

- Adjust machine settings, such as pressure, back gauge, and ram speed, to achieve desired results.

** Shear Machine Operation:**

- Set up and operate shear press machines to cut and shape metal sheets and components.

- Select and install appropriate cutting blades and adjust machine settings for each job.

- Position metal sheets on the shear press bed, ensuring proper alignment and securing them for cutting.

**Folding Machine Operation:**

- Set up and operate door folding machines to fold doors or door components as per specifications.

- Select and install appropriate tools, dies, or fixtures required for each job.

- Adjust machine settings, such as pressure, speed, and folding parameters, to achieve desired results.

**Blueprint and Specification Interpretation:**

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine correct machine settings and folding requirements.

- Measure and mark folding lines on door materials, ensuring accuracy and precision.

**Safety Compliance:**

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

**Collaboration and Communication:**

- Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate production activities.

- Communicate any issues or concerns promptly to ensure timely resolution.

- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

**Documentation and Reporting:**

- Complete and maintain production logs, quality control reports, and other necessary documentation.

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production activities and any issues encountered.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a door folder operator or in a similar manufacturing role.

- Must know how to read a tape measure.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

2nd shift

2PM - 10pm

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
