Group Benefits Account Manager
Hybrid position with our client--a privately held employee benefits company in metro Detroit seeking to recruit an experienced Account Manager. In this role you'll manage a book of business (25-300 lives) with a diverse clientele. Accounts may be fully insured, partially self-funded, self-insured or captive. You’ll work with a dedicated account team with responsibility for customer satisfaction, problem resolution and client retention. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
* Onboarding new clients
* Respond to inquiries from clients and carriers
* Complete RFP and request census * Initiate vendor renewal request with Service Rep. and coordinate process with the agent to negotiate all renewal rate relief.
* Prepare Open Enrollment guides, checklists, forms, summaries and webinars.
* Conduct OE meetings, health fairs and webinars
* Participate in the pre-renewal, renewal and post renewal meetings
* Responsible for Compliance & Regulatory oversight with clients.
Experience & Software:
Related experience in group benefits setting.
Active Life and Health license or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
MS Office Suite
Brokerage Builder/ZyWave software
This position will go hybrid after the initial training period of 90 days or can be 100% in office (your choice). No overnight travel. WFH 3 days/week; in office two days/week (Rochester Hills).
Top compensation model (salary, full benefits package). Bonuses 2x/year based on company profitability and individual performance.
