First Staff Services is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Chicago, IL
- Administer full cycle semi-monthly and special payrolls. Conduct audit to ensure accuracy of entries.
- Collect, maintain and manage all current and future payroll changes and input change at appropriate time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all payroll discrepancies; consult with ADP or HR staff as necessary to assist in the process.
- Research and implement required tax set up in ADP for new states in conjunction with completing and filing appropriate registration forms for the state’s Department of Revenue and Unemployment agencies.
- Research and provide the HR team with the appropriate employer poster requirements for each new state in which we enter.
- Manage all agency notices. Ensure the Company is in compliance and that the appropriate taxes are being collected and disbursed by ADP as necessary.
- Maintain/file/scan all HR and payroll paperwork and files.
- Provide Finance with copies of semi-monthly statements and invoices upon receipt.
- Assist employees with payroll and Ipay Statement related questions.
- Complete employment verifications.
- Coordinate and administer Transit program.
