First State Insurance Agency is looking for driven and resourceful candidates to fill the role of Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. A successful Customer Service Representative will be a solution-oriented individual with demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

Professionalism

* Engage with customers, colleagues and supervisors on the phone and in person with a high level of professionalism and respect

* Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with clients and within the agency

Accountability

* Review all activities/follow-ups daily and check all changes for accuracy

* Review/Process all assigned documents within the prescribes processing times

Initiative

* Prepare Renewal Information for producers and account manager on a timely basis (30 days prior to renewal)

* Maintain accurate contact information for each client in management system

Adaptability

* Prepares policy change requests online using email from AMS and create activity/follow-up

* Works with Account Manager & Senior Account Manager in reviewing and updating all monthly reports distributed by accounting

Qualifications

* Excellent Customer Service Skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Exceptional written & verbal communication skills

* Must possess and maintain the appropriate insurance license

* 1 to 2 years industry specific experience preferred

* Strong sense of punctuality & attendance

* High school diploma/GED

* Must obtain and maintain professional designation relevant to the role
