If so, we are looking for you! We are looking for candidates to work in Newark, DE. We are currently accepting applications for full-time veterinary receptionists. Our receptionists are a vital part of our team.

Typical duties include:

• Scheduling appointments
• Answering multiple telephone lines
• Checking clients in and out
• Assessing the needs of the patient and/or reason for the visit
• Obtaining medical/vaccine history of new patients
• Updating client information
• Client education
• Product sales
• Computer operation/data entry
• Financial transactions and basic accounting
• Front office area maintenance.

Successful applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a patient demeanor in dealing with the public, displaying a "people person" attitude. Our receptionists must be able to work evenings and weekends and are expected to master a certain amount of medical knowledge, as well as be able to answer client questions and communicate patient needs.

Applicants must be able to perform well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 1-year of veterinary experience is required.
