Summary: Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant provides executive support to the CEO or to others as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory duties.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma and two to three years related experience and/or training. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, a Social Science or a related field is preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and executive memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply critical thinking skills and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of a computer or tablet and accompanying applications and software. Knowledge of basic office equipment should include Microsoft Office, Internet, email, copy and fax machines, and telephone.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A current CA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required.
