• Responsible for packing / repacking products.
• Measures, weighs, and counts products and material; assembles, lines, and pads cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
• Cleans containers, materials, supplies, or work area using cleaning solutions and hand tools; examines and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met
• Loads products into package processing equipment, marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools; obtains, moves, and sorts products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools
• Places and/or pours products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment
• Records product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Removes completed or defective products or materials; seals containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.

Pick job facts:

• No separating cases by stop (Only single customer pick jobs) o No applying of case labels o No calling for a check digit o No picking pieces (Full case pick only)
• Light weight cases averaging 22 lbs.

Average pick is 10 cases per slot o Average lines per job is 9 different items

• Less than 5% of cases are variable weight Currently every associate on 2nd shift meets or exceeds our performance expectations.
