Overview

The Marketing Specialist is tasked with a broad variety marketing activities and operates within a deadline driven environment. The role of the Marketing Specialist is to market products by developing and implementing marketing, promotional and advertising campaigns; managing vendors and co-op programs/funds; tracking sales data; planning meetings and trade shows; conducting research; preparing reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Assist with developing comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing team to create compelling content for marketing materials including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing.
• Assist with managing social media accounts and engage with followers to increase online presence and promote brand awareness.
• Conduct market research and analysis.
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics.
• Assist in the planning and execution of events and promotional activities including attendance at customer events or conferences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including eCommerce and Sales ensure creative alignment across all channels.
• Plan, design, and develop effective presentations for internal and external use.
• Support the execution of day-to-day delivery of email marketing campaigns, newsletters, invitations, event materials etc.
• Maintain effective working relationships with vendors to obtain promotional and marketing materials.
• Process and track co-op programs.
• Ensure that all creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to innovative solutions to marketing efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, at a minimum candidate must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
