Position: Demand Planner

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary: $75,000-$80,000

SUMMARY: First Tactical is seeking an experienced and highly organized demand planner who will analyze and forecast customer demand and develop strategies to meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations team to forecast orders and develop a supply chain strategy to meet those demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for analyzing customer trends and developing strategies to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Use analytical, marketing, and sales data of a company to estimate future product demand.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Advises planning, merchandising, and marketing partners of demand sales opportunities and risks.
• Develop and implement effective forecasting models to accurately predict customer demand.
• Develop annual, monthly, and daily demand plans and forecasting for online and offline businesses.
• Manage customer orders and inventory levels to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasting, budgets, and business strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations team to develop supply chain strategies.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders in developing forecasts for new items, promotions, and end of life items.
• Monitor and report KPI’s to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement inventory control policies.
• Other duties may be assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
• 5 years of experience as a Demand Planner
• Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems

Extensive Excel Knowledge (Pivot Tables, Indexing matching, Macros)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK CONDITIONS:

Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
