Location: Clearwater, FL
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are a leading provider of flow and energy measurement products for hydronic heating and cooling systems, delivering exceptional customer service and quality engineered instruments. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, including collections, payment applications, and resolving discrepancies. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office. This is an onsite, non-exempt role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting two business units, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Daily Invoicing and Credit Memos: Responsible for daily invoicing and processing credit memos as needed. Directly interface with customers on collection matters and dispute resolution.
  • Credit Holds: Conduct daily reviews of sales orders on credit hold and take necessary actions.
  • Accounts Receivable Balances: Provide updated accounts receivable balances weekly and upon request.
  • Credit Applications and Limits: Manage the credit application process, maintain, and monitor existing credit limits.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies such as billing issues, returns, and sales tax corrections in a timely manner.
  • Routine Duties: Perform monthly and daily duties as assigned, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend opportunities for continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor or Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial credit/collections with direct customer contact responsibilities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely assignments.

  • Composure: Ability to exhibit poise, composure, and confidence in stressful or high-pressure situations.

  • Initiative: Hands-on, self-starting, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment that requires highly accurate and timely work products.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Hazards: Working in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to typical manufacturing hazards.
