POSITION: Maintenance Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Administration & Facilities
POSITION PURPOSE: Assure cleanliness and safety of facility, equipment, and property
POSITION STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of maintenance experience in a business setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Follow the church’s mission and staff covenant
- Prioritize and complete tasks in timely manner
- Demonstrate positive accountability to those in authority
- Effectively interact and work with diverse staff and community
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Follow custodial schedule for responsibilities essential to various ministries and events
- Inspect building, systems, and equipment regularly for potential issues
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems
- Set up rooms scheduled for various ministries and re-set back to original order after event
- Clean carpeting and tiling on rotation basis as needed
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins throughout facility and transport to outside bins
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Assist with groundskeeping needs
- Assist with snow and ice removal at church entrances as needed
- Assist staff and members with various needs of ministries and programs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
