Interim Organist/Pianist; Interim Choir Director: We will consider one qualified candidate for both positions, or candidates may apply for one or the other.

Interim Organist/Pianist:

Part time, salary range $1000-1250/month. Salary commensurate with ability, education, experience.

Required presence for Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and play appropriate music for weekly services.
• Accompany choir at weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills. FUMC is a people-oriented faith organization. This job requires skills in clear communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Music Degree in a related musical field or commensurate experience.
• One-three years experience as a organist in a church setting.
• Proficient at playing piano and organ in worship services.

Interim Choir Director:

• Select and prepare appropriate choral music weekly
• Schedule and conduct weekly choir rehearsals
• Serve as choir director for Sunday morning worship and special seasonal services
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills. FUMC is a people-oriented faith organization. This job requires skills in clear communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Music Degree in a related musical field or commensurate experience.
• One to three years experience as a choir director, preferably in a church setting.
