Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Medication reminders according to prescribed schedules and guidelines
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health status
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities and routines
- Ensure the safety and security of clients at all times
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Promote resident rights and advocate for their needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses or hospice care providers, to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medication administration systems is a plus
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards others
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations calmly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
