Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Support Associate to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a long-term care setting.

Duties:

- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help individuals with personal care tasks
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents

Skills:

- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in first aid procedures
- Ability to lift and assist individuals as required
- Knowledge of long-term care practices
- Familiarity with nursing home environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
