Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members. A valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for traveling to different work sites. Additionally, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with current CPR and First Aid certifications. Candidates must hold a Nurse Aide certification and ideally have at least 6 months of healthcare experience, with prior home care experience being advantageous.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to facilitate proper communication with others
• Must be able to provide physical and emotional care to the aged and disabled
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
• Valid Hawaii driver's license required
• Must have reliable means to arrive at work sites and destinations
• High school diploma or equivalent.
