As a 'best-in-class,' non-medical HOME CARE AGENCY serving the Silicon and Tri-Valley areas, we are seeking an EXPERIENCED, DETAIL-ORIENTED Staffing and Scheduling Specialist. The main role of this position is to schedule caregivers in clients homes to help with personal care needs and activities of daily living. • WORKDAYS: Monday - Friday // ***must be available to work periodic weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position uses data and software, along with excellent judgment and discretion, to match the best suited caregiver with our elderly and disabled clients.

• Manage the creation and maintenance of client and caregiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and development of extraordinary relationships.
• Enter all shifts in our proprietary scheduling software, and update as needed.
• Negotiate availability and shift assignments with caregivers.
• Coach caregivers on a variety of issues including interpretation and administration of client care plans, company policies, procedures and new service inquiries.
• Utilize independent judgment to problem solve caregiver, client and staffing concerns.
• Support recruitment, interviewing, and on-boarding efforts as needed.
• Assist with office responsibilities, including filing personnel folders and answering phones.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience working as a Staffing or Scheduling Specialist at a home care agency or staffing agency
• Resilient and tenacious with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Ability to influence and persuade others with confidence, integrity, and diplomacy.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment and discretion.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills; excellent listener.
• Exceptional scheduling skills with experience working in Wellsky
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in software applications, such as Word and Excel.
