firstPro is seeking an experienced accounting manager to join a great team in the Norcross area. This position has a base pay of 100k with a 20% Bonus and works on hybrid schedule (3 days in 2 remote). Please apply if you feel you meet the qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts, including analyzing variances and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify and address any control weaknesses or potential risks.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support informed business decisions.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a progressive accounting role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
