Job Title: Business Finance and Accounting Consultant

Location: Mid-point in Boston; Extensive travel (Onsite in Mashpee, MA several days each month)

Client: Small Business Consulting Firm

Compensation: Competitive, market value annual salary plus bonus (benefits at the employee's expense and discretion)

My client is a small consulting firm which specializes in helping small businesses become more sophisticated, process-oriented, and efficient, as well as helping them grow and develop. This is everything from general business operations to accounting & finance to systems & software, and more. The group caters to the professional services industry all over the East Coast.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance

• Targeting 10 years of experience, including a strong blend of exposure to finance & accounting facets of the business including consultation & advisement, month end close accounting, financial planning & analysis, and systems & software

• High business acumen with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop

• Entrepreneurial attitude and demeanor, with excellent drive and self-motivation

Scope of the Role and Responsibilities

Will work closely with the founder and company CEO on accounting & finance development for clients as well as the following deliverables:

• Learn and understand the vision from the CEO and become the key influencer in executing business philosophies

• Translate the key processes into business systems that add value to clients

• Oversee and ensure communicating the mission and core values in all interactions with clients

• Deliver the correct message to customers and build the brand with the public.

• Sell and individually produce the budgeted amount of consulting services.
