We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our clients team. This role involves handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month end close processes.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable: Process customer invoices accurately and timely. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable: Review and process vendor invoices in accordance with payment terms and company policies. Prepare and schedule payments to vendors. Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• General Ledger Entries: Record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger. Ensure proper coding and classification of expenses and revenues. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a monthly basis. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank records and accounting records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) is a plus.
