firstPRO Inc. is Hiring an Application Support Analyst Near Boston, MA
FirstPro is now accepting resumes for an Application Support Analyst position based in Boston, MA. This role will focus on providing application support on Workday and Salesforce by triaging support issues and data inquiries and escalating them to internal teams as needed. This is a contract position to cover an internal employee's leave.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and triage jobs and system integrations
- Monitor and manage email and ServiceNow ticket queues
- Facilitate access and user requests for multiple systems
- Collaborate with vendor support to drive resolution of production support items
- Manage and triage major or minor production system incidents
- Work closely with Business Analysts troubleshooting issues and assist in solutions being developed
- Document status and resolution of incidents, requests and problems
- Perform ad-hoc data refreshes
- Research and respond to data inquiries
- Assist with system access certification activities
- Assist with basic reporting and system automation efforts
Requirements
- MIS or CS undergraduate degree preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience in Application Support or a similar technical role
- Highly motivated individual, able to drive problem resolution from inception to closure
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized, ability to multitask with ease
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Experience with Cloud or SaaS based applications
- Experience working with external vendors for support of applications
- Salesforce Administration and SOQL knowledge a plus
- Workday experience a plus
- Experience in the financial industry a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft SQL skills a plus
