We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects in the development and implementation of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) products. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This is a hybrid, 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tactical leadership to New Product Development (NPD) teams to achieve project goals, utilizing proactive and assertive leadership aligned with the company's mission and values.
• Coordinate the selection of multi-disciplinary, cross-functional project teams, ensuring appropriate resources are allocated for project success.
• Identify and manage all cross-functional deliverables associated with new product development, leading and focusing the activities of core team members and extended resources as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with team members, sponsors, management staff, and functional managers through regular meetings and updates.
• Forecast, plan, and control internal and external resources to achieve project objectives, including project schedule, budget, product performance, and cost.
• Utilize appropriate project management tools and techniques across multiple functions to ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate records and conduct all activities in a fair, moral, ethical, and legal manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Preferably 4-5 years of experience in product development and project leadership.
• Understanding of various aspects of new product development including engineering, marketing, finance, manufacturing, and quality function deployment.
• Demonstrated skill in project management and project management software.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is preferred.
• PMP Certification highly preferred
