Director of Finance - Insurance & Healthcare

Available: July 2024

The Director of Finance will join a large $1B organization in the insurance/healthcare industry with great benefits and work/life balance. The Director will assist in implementing planning and analysis processes, manage budgeting and forecasting, develop financial models, develop management reporting, and work closely with executive leadership to drive organization growth and success. Candidates should have 7 years of financial analysis experience, prior leadership experience, and executive presence. Insurance or healthcare industry experience are required.

Director of Finance - Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor one direct report and build out staff
• Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Partner with executive leadership to present financial summaries, business reviews, and develop financial planning
• Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics
• Prepare financial models and variance analysis
• Create presentations and reports to analyze business decisions and provide analytical insights
• Implement processes related to financial planning, reporting, and budgeting
• Partner with accounting leaders to improve financial processes and procedures
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives
• Perform FP&A to improve profitability and productivity

Director of Finance - Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7 years of financial analysis experience
• 3 years of management experience
• Insurance or healthcare industry experience required
• MBA or CPA preferred

Compensation will range to $180,000 15% bonus
