The Service Desk Lead oversees daily operations of a team assigned to client projects, ensuring effective methodologies, quality assurance, and resolution of client issues. This role supports team morale, performance evaluations, and necessary disciplinary actions.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily team activities and guide team members.
  • Ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and enhance team morale, escalating issues as needed.
  • Conduct trend and root cause analyses with recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide feedback and assist with performance reviews and disciplinary documentation.
  • Compile status reports and coordinate timesheet approvals.
  • Assist in resource allocation for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with methodologies and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in client meetings and support intellectual property capture.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.
  • Participate in candidate interviews for team roles.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and pursue relevant certifications.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of IT or related industry experience required.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
