A large Accounting and Finance Advisory Firm is looking to add a strong Technical Accounting Senior Manager to their team. This role will be client facing, with responsibilities including technical accounting, financial reporting, IPO Readiness, due diligence, analysis, and much more.
The ideal candidate will have spent at least 2 years of their career with a Big 4 Firm, have a CPA license, and a strong overall technical accounting background.
Responsibilities
- Lead various specialty transactions for clients, including IPO readiness, M&A transactions, stock offerings, and more.
- Work closely with senior leadership, being the subject matter expert for complex accounting transactions and issues.
- Prepare SEC Filings, including corresponding footnotes and analysis.
- Stay up to date on various accounting standards, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Implement new and better accounting practices and procedures for clients.
- Ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- 8 years of overall accounting experience, including at least 2 years of Big 4 experience.
- CPA
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or similar
