FirstService Residential is Hiring a Skilled Porter Near Baltimore, MD
POSITION SUMMARY:
Porters report to and support the Common Area Manager to ensure that all common areas are maintained in a functional, clean, and aesthetically appealing condition.
- Deliver Newspapers in the morning
- Pick up Trash and Debris around the building
- Pick up Trash and Branches in Courtyard
- Sweep brick at both residential entrances
- Pull all trash and recycling from trash room in Condos and Garage
- Hose down dumpster room floor
- Vacuum Corridors
- Wipe all door knockers and picture frames
- Dust door frames
- Wipe Chair Rails (On Walls) and Furniture
- Clean and Mop Elevators and Elevator Tracks
- Vacuum and Mop landings / Garage Entry
- Sweep garage entrance walkways all floors
- Walk Garage and pick up trash
- Fill Courtyard Fountains
- Water Exterior Plants
- Clean Windows on elevators on each floor
- Sweep all stairwells and wipe down rails
- Wash off back promenade
- Works with carpet cleaning machine and cleans carpets as necessary
- Responsible for all snow clearing including walkways, steps and front entrances, including: maintaining and utilizing snow blower and shovels. Assist in the maintaining of calcium- chloride and ice melt and applying same when icy conditions prevail.
- Assist maintenance and maintenance projects when in need
- All other duties as directed by the Board of Directors/Trustees, Management and/or Maintenance Supervisor
