Job Description

Power Platform Developer/Support Specialist

Job Description:

The Power Platform Developer will play a crucial role in driving the organization's digital transformation initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to enhance business processes and data analytics. The specialist will also provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and user training to ensure optimal performance and user adoption of the Power Platform solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Develop custom solutions utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint integration, Premium connectors and custom connectors.
  • Implement complex business workflows and automate processes using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Platform with other Microsoft and third-party applications for seamless data flow.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Adhere to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Deploy Power Apps and Power Automate flows, including packaging solutions and transferring them between environments.
  • Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users encountering Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and updates, recommending adoption where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including development processes, user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Develop and regularly update Knowledge Base (KB) articles in ServiceNow to ensure accurate and helpful content for end-users.
  • Help define and implement governance standards for Power Platform to ensure consistent and compliant use across the organization.
  • Work with security teams to ensure the appropriate security posture is maintained.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, DAX language, and M query language.
  • Exposure to SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Skills in connecting and integrating data sources with Power Platform, including SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and external APIs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with SPFx and SharePoint APIs a plus.
  • Experience with .NET Framework and C# a plus.
