Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: software quality control, systems analysis or system support preferred.

Advanced professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Leads IT support group activities and provides analytical and technical assistance to the support team. May coach and/or mentor junior System Support Analysts and support staff. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Generates statistical reports and analyses for management. Monitors team activity for quality control. Provides recommendations for enhancements to department processes and procedures. Maintain current operational procedures. Actively participates in all phases of product development to ensure a smooth transition into production for the users, clients and support personnel. Manages and administers the change management process. Develops audit utilities to verify data integrity. Coordinates and executes code installations. Works with business units to quality control applications. Administers application logins. Performs monthly user access audits by application. Creates and executes queries for one-time extraction of data. Sets up and tests interface files. Coordinates and prioritizes requests/tickets among team members. Executes system processes not yet ready for hand-off to operations and reviews results. Maintains support test areas and utilities. Works with external and internal auditors on SOX, SSAE16 and internal audits. Works with DBAs to modify databases and schemas. Identifies complex problems and develops, evaluates and implements solutions. Develops and designs effective system-generated reports. Prepares detailed analyses of processes and procedures. Performs operational analyses of procedures. Develops and maintains training material. Typically requires five or more years work experience in software quality control, systems analysis, system support, software development or related discipline or three or more years as a System Support Analyst II. Requires strong leadership and project management skills. Must be able to identify alternative solutions and approaches to problems and influence others on the best approach to take.
