About the team:
You will be joining a team managing daily operations, client escalations, project deployments, and overall management to budgeted costs for some of our largest clients. Specifically, this position will manage processing, Fraud, and potentially broader Deposit back-office teams. Working across teams in both US and India, this team specializes in US and Canada returns, adjustments, and exceptions processing.
What you will be doing:
You will manage a team of operations leaders who are responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our processing team. You will work closely with the client and stakeholders as the single point of contact regarding any operational questions or issues.
You will manage the processing environment to protect production systems critical to the success of the business.
Acts as escalation point with subject matter expertise for outstanding questions around Day 2 operations or any ancillary services for a particular client.
You are responsible for delivering an operations environment that meets all service level agreements, e.g., 24/7 availability, response time parameters, etc. and availability targets.
You will develop and implement team standards and procedures that support departmental standards and procedures.
You will select, train, develop, and lead an efficient and effective processing team.
You will be developing, managing and forecasting the budgets for the relevant cost centers.
Research and test new analytical approaches and technologies.
What you bring:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Knowledge of all processing phases
2 years of management experience
7 years of processing environment experience
Knowledge of project management methods and techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
Proficiency in client communication and escalation management
Knowledge of FIS products and systems
