What does a successful Head of Communications do at Fiserv?

The Head of Communications will play a critical role in brand building and elevating brand awareness to drive alignment with corporate and external messaging. You will craft compelling narratives that build credibility and drive engagement across external initiatives that expand the Fiserv market presence. Your voice will resonate worldwide shaping the essence of our brand.

What you will do:

Serve as a strategic advisor on corporate communications, media relations and brand reputation management to the CMO and CEO

Develop and execute strategic communication planning – both proactive and reactive and across all facets of the business that help to define messaging and communicate the company’s vision and priorities.

Create marketing/public relations strategy that will allow Fiserv leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, external audiences both to amplify the company’s success as well as to mitigate any reputational risk by being informative, accurate, responsive, and intentional.

Serve as the company spokesperson and lead point person for media interactions.

Lead crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.

Identify opportunities for partnerships to engage media and other opinion leaders to elevate the Fiserv brand.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
• 15 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, communications experience, and/or military experience
• 7 years’ experience managing a team
• B2C Marketing experience
• Ability to travel as necessary

What would be great to have:

• MBA or master’s degree
• International experience
