Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead the development and execution of our strategic growth and business development initiatives consistent with our growth strategy. This leadership role is crucial for advancing our strategic growth objectives and expanding our services and our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing companies through targeted business development activities, and a strong understanding of the markets we are in, to guide sustainable and responsible organizational growth. The Director of Business Development will own achieving the company’s annual Fees Commissioned goals including both company and department/group goals. This person will work collaboratively with our Senior Leadership Team to accomplish this. This position will report directly to the CEO and be a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team.

Salary:
$140,000 - $160,000 base salary plus metric-driven bonuses for a total compensation of $170,000 -$190,000. Also eligible for additional profit-sharing bonuses.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
15 years of experience in business development and successfully growing a company to achieve its goals; experience in our current, complementary and/or new professional consulting services that would propel us forward in the marketplace is strongly preferred.
Proven track record of successfully growing an organization and achieving business development goals.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented leader.
