Key Responsibilities :
Ensures all stock orders are picked in both an accurate and timely manner.
Essential Functions :
Operates an RF scanner to pick stock orders
Maintains clean aisle ways clearing their workspace of debris
Efficiently prepares orders with an attention to detail
Responsible for maintaining familiarity and knowledge of company product line locations, and priorities regarding outgoing orders
Knowledge, Skills, Duties and Abilities :
Ability to use carts and or stock chasers to pick orders as needed; complete appropriate pre-trip / post-trip inspection and maintenance paperwork
Able to perform tasks accurately
Must be detail-oriented
Self-motivated and customer service driven attitude
Able to stay organized and on task
Able to use scanners in conjunction with the picking process
Meet and maintain accuracy and production goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work effectively within a diverse population and workforce both individually and as part of a team
Comply with federal, state, local, OSHA, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
Perform other duties and / or work in other departments of work location as assigned
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Fisher Auto Parts Employee and Driver’s Handbooks
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT :
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop
Also required to climb, push / pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
May be occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and / or vehicles, high / precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and / or vibration.
Noise level may be moderate to heavy
Must have considerable mobility, and be able to stand and / or sit for long durations of time
REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
