Job Description:
This position is responsible for stocking, merchandising, rotation, displays and inventory counts. This is a front-line role servicing our retailers. Merchandisers are responsible for working as a team to make sure all accounts are serviced in a timely manner.
Job Duties:
- Reports to Merchandiser Trainer each morning for assignments
- Inspect vehicle condition (i.e. body damage, tires, fluids, safety issues, etc.) prior to leaving daily. Any issues should be noted to Merchandiser Trainer, Supervisor or Manager
- Maintain a working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of all your accounts
- Visit assigned stores daily to breakdown truck and work back stock to stock displays, shelves, coolers and bunkers with all brands and packages sold by the company
- Rotate stock per procedures on expiration dating - FIFO
- Where required build displays-install or distribute promotional materials
- Assist with cooler resets as directed by Sales Manager
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Have at least a year of driving experience
- High School Graduate or Equivalent Certificate
- Great work ethic and a team player
- Great time management
- Great communication and math skills
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs repetitively
- Potential candidates are required to successfully complete a medical evaluation including a physical evaluation designed to test ability to perform basic physical job requirements.
