We're seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our team as an assistant teacher or school-wide support staff aka floater, part time or full time. We offer a great deal of opportunity for growth within the company for childcare professionals who want to grow in their careers.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and guide children during lunch, nap or on an excursion to the park (all weather) and assist in the implementation of daily program activities together with lead and assistant teachers
• Display a loving and caring demeanor to implement positive discipline methods that align with the school’s high standards of caregiving
• Work with fellow staff members to plan, prepare and implement PM care activities with guidance from lead teachers and under the supervision of the Director
• Substitute in any of our five classrooms with toddlers (18 m - 3 y) or Primary (3-6 y)

Requirements:

• The ability to lift 50lbs
• Complete a staff file according to PA regulations (we can help you obtain this)
• Meet requirements for Assistant Group Supervisor according to PA chapter 3270

Compensation:
