FISKARS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER OUR ROLE This position is based in Middleton, WI, and reports to our Strategic Sales Manager. The role is full time and is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS Responsibilities: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing underpenetrated business areas within strategic accounts and providing key executional support to achieve overall account goals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for merchants in underdeveloped Fiskars business areas, with the goal of establishing a greater Fiskars presence and driving profitable sales in close coordination with the Strategic Sales Lead. Account Expertise: Serve as the account expert, understanding key points of contact and customer priorities in the accounts. Growth Strategy: In coordination with the Strategic Sales Lead, develop a multi-year approach to sustained growth in underdeveloped Fiskars categories. Omni-Channel Success: Work with the eCommerce team to develop goals and strategies that align with brick-and-mortar strategies to achieve omni-channel success. Opportunity Prioritization: Prioritize opportunities critical to the customer/account, including in-line, new category, and promotional opportunities. Sales Coordination: Ensure professional sales coordination and planning, including accurate forecast/report sales, and develop and deliver account proposals and market plans. Line Review Management: Manage the line review process for respective account categories, efficiently utilizing all Fiskars resources (channel, product marketing, PR, sales analytics). New Business Acquisition: Secure new business opportunities to drive company growth and profitability, expanding Fiskars' market presence. WHO YOU ARE Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree desirable or 5-7 years of relevant experience Experience & knowledge: 3-5 years progressive selling experience in CPG with major retail accounts. Proven experience in business development or account management. Strong understanding of strategic sales and marketing principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Proactive and results-oriented approach.
