We are on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Transportation Manager to spearhead our inbound and outbound logistics strategies. In this key role, you'll be at the heart of negotiating freight rates, reporting on vital performance metrics, analyzing logistics data, and overseeing daily transportation activities. This position is based in Middleton, WI US and reports to our Julian Ramirez, Director, Logistics Americas The role is full-time and a hybrid role. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS Responsibilities: Transportation pricing: Lead negotiations and maintain competitive contract pricing across all transportation modes, including parcel, LTL, truckload, and freight forwarders Vendor management: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with logistics partners, holding vendors accountable to specific performance KPIs KPI reporting: Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators for distribution and transportation to stakeholders across Sourcing, Planning, Distribution, Finance, NPD, and Compliance departments 3PL liaison: Oversee daily operational relationships with 3rd Party Logistics providers, ensuring costs align with contractual agreements and leases Project management: Champion logistics and distribution projects, driving cost savings and achieving Continuous Improvement Program KPIs.
