TRANSPORTATION MANAGER

OUR ROLE

Are you ready to drive our logistics operations to new heights? We are on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Transportation Manager to spearhead our inbound and outbound logistics strategies. In this key role, you'll be at the heart of negotiating freight rates, reporting on vital performance metrics, analyzinglogistics data, and overseeing daily transportation activities. Your exceptional project management skills and ability to collaborate across various departments will be instrumental in crafting and executing cutting-edgelogistics solutions. This position is based in Middleton, WIUS and reports to ourJulian Ramirez, Director, Logistics AmericasThe role isfull-time and a hybrid role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO ATFISKARS

Responsibilities:

  • Transportation pricing: Lead negotiations and maintain competitive contract pricing across all transportation modes, including parcel, LTL, truckload, and freight forwarders

  • Vendor management: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with logistics partners, holding vendors accountable to specific performance KPIs

  • KPI reporting: Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators for distribution and transportation to stakeholders across Sourcing, Planning, Distribution, Finance, NPD, and Compliance departments

  • 3PL liaison: Oversee daily operational relationships with 3rd Party Logistics providers, ensuring costs align with contractual agreements and leases

  • Project management: Champion logistics and distribution projects, driving cost savings and achieving Continuous Improvement Program KPIs. Leverage your expertise to support customs compliance and reduce overall transportation costs

  • Cross-functional support: Act as a vital link to cross-functional teams, developing and supporting innovative logistics programs, including direct consumer fulfillment

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics Management, or a related field

  • 3 - 5 years of dynamic hands-on experience in logistics or a related field

  • Proficiency in English, the corporate working language

  • Lead in inspiring others contributing to an inclusive and supportive culture

  • Thrive in an ever-changing environment, seamlessly adjusting to new challenges

  • Enjoy tackling complex problems with innovative thinking decisive action
